Preface

This is my public confession; my intimate reflection; my manifestation of reason; my time of absorption and meditation; my source of enlightenment; my vehicle of individualism; my means of looking from the outside-in. It is a synthesis of the observations, ideas, influences, and interrelationships I acquire, rather; earn in my everyday life. The goal here is to identify with the role my life plays, whether it’s supposed to or not is another story. By complementing a Spectator’s analysis of the world through learned behavior with an Agent’s abstraction of it through deep reflection I hope to achieve this goal. The personal beliefs-emotions-expressions-judgments-opinions-thoughts-views expressed by way of my words serve as a means of constructing-developing-evolving-nurturing-supplementing one's awareness-consciousness-discernment-examination-outlook-perception-vision of the self amid the crazy world(s) we live in. I strongly believe everything in one’s life happens for a reason. Whether or not we will ever understand the reason remains unknown. It is for this understanding I yearn. However, reasons may never emerge, for life's a journey, not a destination. After all, life’s about living, not dieing, right? Ultimately, I just want to know thy self. This endeavour will be undertaken in loving memory of my father and my grandmother. They taught me how to believe, imagine, appreciate, love, listen, think, respond, and communicate. Moreover, they taught me how to properly speak and articulately write for which I am eternally greatful. Most important of all they taught me how to live free or die! So Dad, Grandma, this is for you, sorry it took so long. Love, me.
